Hey DoLls!! I've been super busy lately. Today I am going to teach you how to put on fake lashes!
1.) You will need Duo glue or if you are allergic to latex Revlon has lash glue that is latex free.
2.) You will need fake lashes. I recommend using Human hair that way they won't irritate your sin or eyes. I bought mine from the mall for $2.50 each.
3.) A tweezer.
4.) A brush.
6.) Eye Liner
1.) I first take out the lashes from the plastic and wrap the lashes around your finger and bend them a bit so they are not stiff.
2.) Next take your glue and squeeze a little bit on to the plastic case of your lashes. Let the glue get tacky for 30 seconds.
3.) Take your brush and dip the end of it into the glue.
4.) Glide the glue on the flat curved lash line. Make sure to be cautious and not get it on the actual lashes.
5.) Gently place the lashes on top of your real lashes and take your tweezers to push the fake lashes into the lash line and to adjust as needed.
6.) When lashes are dry take mascara and blend the fake lashes with the real ones.
7.) Take a eye liner and line your eyelid to blend the lashes with your lash line.
All done and ready to be glamorous!
Please be careful if you get Semi- permanent eyelash extensions. Your lashes will fall out and you may have to wait two months before they grow back for some people even longer :( !

Todays post will be about how to become a real makeup artist!
Makeup gLaM sQuAd Artist Guide
1.) Accumulate enough makeup to practice and to apply makeup on clients. Make a makeup kit. I suggest getting samples from makeup counters.
2.) STUDY, STUDY, & STUDY: Study makeup charts ex.) http://www.google.com/search?q=makeup+face+charts&hl=en&sa=G&rlz=1G1GGLQ_ENUS317&prmd=ivns&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&ei=LPwwTpqYKabjiAKFi-WmBg&ved=0CB8QsAQ&biw=1123&bih=538
3.) GET INSPIRED: Checkout or study other makeup artists work on youtube, google or any other places online. Practice on yourself different looks and always document with your camera. That way you can see what you may need to work on.
4.) Choose people from different ages from each age group 16-19, 20-23, 24-29, 30-40, 50-70. Apply makeup on each client and take photos.
5.) CREATE Resume / Portfolio: with photos. I suggest getting photos printed at Kinko’s on gloss card stock for a more professional feel.
6.) Add photos to the end of your resume and make sure the photos are versatile so that the client can see your range in your makeup ability.
You may want to show a elegant makeup look, a natural look, dramatic look, theatrical look and etc. Make sure your photos are edited for any touchups that may be needed.
7.) Applying: If you are applying for a job at a makeup counter as for an application. Drop off your resume with application to all makeup counters. Introduce yourself, show that you can call peoples attention and get them to want to apply and buy the product. Your attire should be all in black to give a professional look and have your makeup done.
8.) Follow up: Make sure you keep following up with them every week and a half. Be persistent and show them that you want this job.
9.) Freelance: Mean while post your resume online or in the newspaper with a photo of your work. Make a list of pricing with your contact info.
For example: a.) Name: Gizelle
b.) Services: Makeup weddings, fashion shows, theater& etc.
c.) Pricing: $ 40 with lashes, wedding packages, & etc.
d.) Contact: email, phone number, & etc.
e.) Photos: Different photos of your work to show range.
10.) Networking: Make a blog, youtube channel, website, facebook, twitter with all your Photos and network with other makeup artists as much as you can to get your name out there.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Today this blog is all about the Kim Kardashian eyeshadowLOOK!! Everyone loves the smokey eyes. And I decided to take it up a notch. I wanted to make it more dramatic and bold.
1.) Do your foundation, blush and contouring as normal.
2.) Use a base for your eyeshadow. Such as the paint pot by M.A.C. in the color painterly.
3.) Use Vanilla underneath the brow and in the inner corner with a 217 brush.
4.) Use M.A.C.'s charcoal brown all over the lid a little past your crease with a 217 brush.
5.) With a 224 brush lightly use NARS night breed (black) shadow in the outer crease and blending it inward towards your nose. (make sure to take your time to blend and don't use too much black)
6.) In the inner corners blend inward with a shimmery pigment such as M.A.C.'s pink bronze or tan with a 224 brush.
7.) Use the charcoal brown mixed with night breed underneath the eye. Start at the the middle of the eye and work it up until the outer corner of the eye. Blend up into the smokey part of the shadow to create a cat eye illusion.
8.) Use black liquid eyeliner from the inner corner to the outer part of the eye at an angle. Make sure you take your time lining the eye to prevent any mistakes.
9.) Now line the inner rim with a black pencil such as smolder. And set it with a black eyeshadow to prevent smudging.
10.) Next put some mascara such as plush lash or some fake lashes to make the look more complete!
Now you guys can go out on the town and feel just as gLaMoRoUs as Kim!
